The CA-218C & CA-218R made by Magnavox provides a convenient way to use most military panel mounted aircraft transceivers as a ground station without the need to modify the transceiver. It provides all of the required voltages as well as an Audio amplifier, a built-in loudspeaker and a jack for a carbon microphone. The internal universal power supply operates from 12/24VDC or from a 15/230V/1Ph/50-400Hz power sources. The aircraft transceiver mounts in the cutout on the front panel.The CA-218C is the portable configuration of the CA-218R. it has a cut out on the top to mount a AT-256/ARC UHF Blade Antenna if desired. 
The following military panel mounted aircraft transceivers can be used with the CA-218C & CA-218R: AN/ARC-114, 115, 116, 150, 159, 164, 186 AND 195.The CA-218R Aircraft Radio Ground Adapters are in stock new
